About

Atelier Blink, founded by Céline Poncelet in 2009, designs spaces and furniture by exploring the potential of what already exists and by experimenting with spatial configurations and uses.
The practice develops an attentive and participatory approach to architecture, creating places that foster encounters and sharing, in connection with current societal issues.

Atelier Blink engages with existing spaces and the narratives they embody. Each project begins with close observation: a site, its uses, materials, and gestures.
Interior architecture, exhibition scenography, wayfinding systems, object design, and interventions in urban space unfold as fields of exploration where research, making, and experimentation intersect.

The existing is considered the primary resource. Reuse, recovery, and transformation of materials guide the design process, seeking an economy of means and a thoughtful attention to durability.

Atelier Blink’s projects take shape through dialogue: collaborations with other practices (architects, graphic designers, craftspeople, etc.), with clients, and with the public itself.
Between research, making, and transmission, Atelier Blink considers space as a field of experimentation, a way to question how we inhabit, work in, and share spaces today.

Céline Poncelet also teaches interior architecture at La Cambre and Ateliers Saint-Luc, and contributes to various academic programs, reinforcing the pedagogical and collaborative dimension of her practice.
